Keep a record
These professional cards are essential for recording client information and their full medical history. They provide documented evidence that your client has given you authorisation to carry out a Nouveau Lashes treatment and confirms that they understand the nature and method of the treatment. Client Record Cards confirm that your client’s medical background and suitability has been assessed and that they have been informed of and agree to follow aftercare instructions and maintenance.
Client Record Cards are required for SVS, LVL, Extend and Express treatments. Best practice is that both lash artists and clients must sign the card.
Pro tips
Before starting a treatment, remember to take pre-procedure photographs of the client. These form an important part of the treatment documentation and should be filed with the Client Record Card, along with the post-procedure photograph.
Save time and remember your clients
Write detailed descriptions about the treatment plan, so that any treatment specifics such as adhesive used, tint colour, lash length, curl and weight, etc. can be identified in the future, if required.
Never use pencil, always use ink to complete the card and if you need to delete any mistakes, simply cross them out and write the correction after the error (or start a new card but dispose of the old one securely).
Always do a final check to ensure all elements of the Client Record Card has been completed in full.
